How it works

A model uses the Dyson Airstrait straightener to pre-dry the roots of her hair.

1. Pre-dry roots

Slide the button to lock and unlock the arms of your machine. Use with the arms locked to gently pre-dry hair and create volume from the roots.

2. Section and style

Dyson Airstrait™ works at every angle. Section your hair with Dyson sectioning hair clips and work methodically around the head for best results.

3. Cool mode to finish

Set your style in place with Cool mode. Engineered to encourage the bonds in the hair to stay in their new place.

Why this appliance needs a PRCD

The straightener’s powerful air drying technology for wet to dry use requires a PRCD plug to test the electrical current for safety. Such plugs are on a variety of electrical appliances, particularly in proximity to water or water vapour.
